Piers is a Trainee Finance Broker within our Bridging Department, drawing on a strong background in law to support clients with tailored short-term finance solutions.

Before joining Clifton PF, he worked as a legal advisor in the insurance sector, specialising in contract law, land law, and employment law. This role saw him work closely with solicitors and gain valuable insight into the UK legal system, as well as experience with government bodies such as the Land Registry. Piers holds a 2:1 in Law (LLB) from Cardiff University.

He enjoys the unique nature of bridging finance, where no two cases or clients are ever the same. Taking the time to understand each client’s circumstances and working with the team to identify the most suitable product is, for Piers, one of the most rewarding aspects of the job. The variety of challenges the role presents ensures that every day is different.

Piers is currently working towards becoming a CeMAP-qualified adviser and is eager to take on greater responsibilities within the sector as his career develops.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors and recently returned from travelling through Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Borneo. He is a keen weightlifter and has recently taken up Muay Thai training.
