James is a Commercial Finance Broker in our commercial finance team, securing bespoke funding solutions for business owners and high-net-worth individuals. His work spans a wide range of products, from asset finance to specialist tax relief strategies.

After studying at Bucks New University, James began his career in finance at Metro Bank, where he spent nearly a decade progressing from Customer Service Representative to Store Manager, and then Local Business Manager. Along the way, he developed deep expertise in business banking, people leadership, and operational growth, earning accolades including Branch of the Year and Customer Champion of the Year.

Specialising in SME finance, business loans, and property funding, James takes pride in simplifying complex finance options and building long-term relationships with clients.

He holds the Professional Banker Certificate from the Chartered Banker Institute, alongside multiple music qualifications including ABRSM Grade 7 in Tenor Horn. Looking ahead, James plans to further his expertise in commercial lending, as well as pursuing a CFA qualification.

Outside of work, he produces and hosts a regular radio show, remains active in the UK music scene, and enjoys weight training and Park Runs. A committed fundraiser, he has raised over £12,000 for charity through events including skydives and half-marathons.
