George Abouzolof is a CeMAP-qualified Senior Private Finance Adviser specialising in large mortgages, high-net-worth clients, and applications involving complex income or financial circumstances. He joined Clifton Private Finance in 2019 and has since developed extensive experience across residential, international, and specialist mortgage lending.

George regularly advises clients whose borrowing requirements are not well served by standard high-street affordability models. These can include company directors and business owners drawing income through salary, dividends, or retained profits, senior professionals receiving bonuses or other variable remuneration, and clients whose wealth is held across property, investments, or international assets.

He has particular experience arranging mortgages of £500,000 and above, including seven-figure facilities for high-net-worth and internationally based clients. His work has involved foreign nationals, UK expatriates, clients with overseas income, and applicants requiring lenders to consider their wider financial position rather than earned income alone.

George assesses each client’s income, assets, and longer-term objectives before approaching suitable lenders. Depending on the circumstances, this can involve specialist mortgage providers, private banks, or lenders offering more individual underwriting.

He supports clients throughout the application, anticipating potential challenges, presenting complex information clearly, and coordinating with lenders and professional parties through to completion.

Although George has significant experience with larger and more complex mortgages, he also advises clients across the wider residential market. His approach is centred on finding an appropriate solution for each client's individual circumstances.

Outside work, George is an enthusiastic Formula One and car fan, and regularly visits the gym.
